Parker PV Series Rising Plug and Gauge/Root Valves are a screwed bonnet design. These rising stem plug valves operate up to 6,000 PSI (414 BAR). They can meet high pressure and temperature applications due to various seat and seal materials.

Parker Rising Plug and Gauge/Root Valves are a screwed bonnet design and available with a variety of seat and seal materials. These valves feature bonnet lock plates for additional valve safety. The PV and PVG Series of valves provide a straight-through flow path in two orifice sizes. This “roddable” feature lets the user clean out the flow stream in dirty or a sticky application. Plus the seat is replaceable. These are tremendous advantages over a general needle style valve.

In addition, these valves utilize a non-wetted upper stem and a non-rotating lower stem in conjunction with a tapered seat for positive shut-off and long seat life, even in particulated (slurry) media. The dust seal is incorporated at the top of the bonnet to insure nothing enters the valve stem area from the outside environment to lock up the stem rotation when in service.
