The audible latchinGwhen the pluGis securely in place signifies that the couplinGis locked. The sleeve must be pulled back to release the first lockinGsystem before it can be disconnected. This closes the couplinGvalve. The compressed downstream aiRcan now escape from the pluG(hose). PullinGthe sleeve back a second time releases the second lockinGsystem. The connection can now be safely undone.
