To: Hansen and Gromelle EMEA Distributors

Dear Customers,

As a part of the ongoing integration of the HansenTM and GromelleTM product lines with the Eaton business in terms of both information systems as well as product offerings, we have uncovered a select number of conflicting part numbers. To resolve these part number conflicts we are changing a select number of traditional Hansen and Gromelle part numbers. This change will be effective immediately. Please note that the conflicting non-coupling Eaton part numbers will not change. There will be no changes to fit, form, and function on any of the parts.

Table 1 outlines the part numbers that will change as a result of the conflicts. In order to differentiate the outlined part numbers and to provide uninterrupted support to our distributors, we will now add a letter ?E? as a suffix to these Eaton Hansen couplings. For example, Eaton Hansen part number ?12? will now become ?12E?.

Effective immediately, please use the new part numbers when placing orders for the indicated part numbers with our Annemasse Customer Service Team. Packing slips and invoices will now reflect the new part numbers. Price lists have been updated to reflect the new part numbers and can be accessed from Annemasse Customer Service Team. As part of a running change, products will be labeled with the new part numbers. New part numbers will be reflected in the Eaton Hansen full line catalog when the next printing occurs.

Please note that Eaton is not eliminating any part numbers from the product line as a result of this change. As previously announced, orders for Eaton Hansen and Gromelle part numbers should be placed with our Customer Service Team located in Annemasse, France (fax +33 450 84 11 12).
