為此，ABB特別開發了適用于鐵路行業（RW）的Ty-Rap電纜扎帶，滿足現代鐵路車輛應用需求。MX-RW電纜扎帶具有符合ISO 4892-2標準的防紫外線保護功能，適合戶外應用；通過了IEC / EN 62275、UL 1565、EN 45545 HL2 （R22和R23）以及法國NF F 16-101 / -102 I3 / F2測試，適用于具有特殊防火需求的場所，例如客車。
新型Ty-Rap鐵路應用電纜扎帶長度92 mm至360 mm，寬度2.4 mm至 7.0 mm，適用的電纜直徑為100 mm。2種扎帶都采用尼龍6.6制造，其材料是有機硅，不含鹵，可耐受溫度為-40 ° C至+ 85 °C。此外，ABB還專門研發了符合人體工學的新型工具，幫助工作人員高效安裝電纜扎帶。
